Sea Swim Camp
The complete three-discipline week, salt-water open swim included.
House of Triathlon camp · Hội An 2026
About This Camp
A week on the south coast at Mui Ne, where a 10km beach of clear water gives genuine sea open-water swimming, the discipline most camps quietly replace with a pool. Open coastal roads for volume, and the dramatic Bàu Trắng dunes as an iconic long-ride backdrop. Swims are scheduled for the calm morning window, when the afternoon wind that made this coast famous for kitesurfing has not yet come up.
Camp Focus
Race-condition open-water swimming in the sea, rolling coastal cycling and run work: the most complete three-discipline block in the calendar. A signature long ride out to the white dunes of Bàu Trắng.

What these sessions are
- Arrival
- Land, build the bike, meet the group. Nothing is trained on the first day.
- Evening debrief
- The group sits down with the coaches: the day's data, pacing, fuelling, and what changes tomorrow.
- Open water
- Sea or sheltered-water swimming as a group, with cover on the water.
- Endurance ride
- Steady aerobic riding, at a pace you could hold all day. Most of a camp week is this.
- Easy run
- Running kept genuinely easy, off the bike or on its own.
- Bike intervals
- Structured efforts above endurance pace, with the recoveries written in.
- Recovery
- Mobility, an easy swim, or nothing. The session that makes the next hard one possible.
- Long ride
- The long day on the bike. Route recced before you arrive, support vehicle following.
- Free
- Nothing scheduled. The afternoon is yours.
- Run intervals
- Structured running: repetitions and controlled recoveries.
- Brick
- Bike then run, back to back. The part of a race you cannot rehearse one discipline at a time.
- Departure
- Bikes packed, transfers out. The camp closes on the Friday it opened on.
Indicative structure, not a contract. Sessions move for the weather, the sea and the group that turns up. There are deliberately no durations, distances or intensities here: those get written for the athletes actually on the camp, once the coaches have seen them train.
