Peak Heat Camp
34°C, full humidity, and a coach who races in it.
House of Triathlon camp · Hội An 2026
About This Camp
The flagship, run at the hottest point of the year on the same coast as the February camp. It is a completely different product. South of Hoi An, open coast and a wind that does not cool reproduce the sensation that breaks races. The week is built around learning your own hydration, sodium and cooling protocol under load, with the session times moved to where the heat is useful rather than dangerous. Advanced only, and we mean it.
Camp Focus
Peak summer heat and humidity for athletes who will have to execute in it. A real, full-scale rehearsal of Kona-class conditions (heat, humidity and a hot drying wind), so race day is not the first time you meet the furnace.

What these sessions are
- Arrival
- Land, build the bike, meet the group. Nothing is trained on the first day.
- Evening debrief
- The group sits down with the coaches: the day's data, pacing, fuelling, and what changes tomorrow.
- Open water
- Sea or sheltered-water swimming as a group, with cover on the water.
- Endurance ride
- Steady aerobic riding, at a pace you could hold all day. Most of a camp week is this.
- Easy run
- Running kept genuinely easy, off the bike or on its own.
- Long ride
- The long day on the bike. Route recced before you arrive, support vehicle following.
- Recovery
- Mobility, an easy swim, or nothing. The session that makes the next hard one possible.
- Pool swim
- Technique and a structured set, in a pool, where the set can actually be held.
- Bike intervals
- Structured efforts above endurance pace, with the recoveries written in.
- Free
- Nothing scheduled. The afternoon is yours.
- Climbing block
- Sustained uphill work, on the best climbing road the base has.
- Brick
- Bike then run, back to back. The part of a race you cannot rehearse one discipline at a time.
- Departure
- Bikes packed, transfers out. The camp closes on the Friday it opened on.
Indicative structure, not a contract. Sessions move for the weather, the sea and the group that turns up. There are deliberately no durations, distances or intensities here: those get written for the athletes actually on the camp, once the coaches have seen them train.
The destination
About Da Nang / Hoi An
Best season
February for the cool coast · July for peak heat
Terrain
Coastal / Heat / Heritage
The flagship. Hot, humid tropical conditions, an international airport, and a complete triathlon playground: rolling coastal roads, the Hai Van Pass for climbing, and ocean open-water swimming. UNESCO Hoi An is a few kilometres away.
Why train here
Hot, humid conditions are the most differentiating argument in the whole offer: a real, full-scale rehearsal of hot-race conditions. South of Hoi An, open coast and a hot drying wind reproduce the Kona sensation. International airport makes it the most travel-friendly base for athletes flying in with a bike. February is the other face of the same coast: 24°C, dry, and the sea still swimmable.
